Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

You will receive your Blackscription box Quarterly (one box every three months).

All Blackscription boxes will be shipped on a Quarterly basis –

• Spring – Spring Blackscription boxes will ship in May. To be guaranteed* a Spring Blackscription box, orders must be placed by April 30th.
• Summer – Summer Blackscriptions boxes will ship in August. To be guaranteed* a Summer Blackscription box, orders must be placed by July 31st.
• Fall – Fall Blackscriptions boxes will ship in November. To be guaranteed* a Fall Blackscription box, orders must be placed by October 31st.
• Winter – Winter Blackscriptions boxes will ship in February. To be guaranteed* a Winter Blackscription box, orders must be placed by January 31st.

If an order is placed after the date noted above, you will receive a box for that Quarter if supplies are still available. Otherwise, you will receive the next Quarters box when released. For example, if you place an order on May 15th, if supplies are still available you will receive the Spring box. *If supplies are no longer available, you will receive the Summer box when it is released in August.

When you select the Quarterly Blackscription box, you will be charged at the time of purchase for your first Blackscription box. After that, your payment method on file will be automatically charged, every 3 months, following the day of your initial purchase until your Blackscription box is paused or cancelled.

When you select the Annual Blackscription box, you receive four Blackscription boxes at a discounted rate as a perk for making a longer-term commitment to Blackscriptions. At the time of purchase, you will be charged the full annual discounted price for your first year of quarterly Blackscription boxes. This purchase is nonrefundable and includes all four quarters of Blackscription boxes (Spring, Summer, Winter and Fall). After that, your annual Blackscription will automatically renew each year, until you pause or cancel.

If you are dissatisfied with any of the product(s) received, please do not send your purchase back to the original retailer. We strive to make your experience as seamless as possible. Please send an email to info@blackscriptions.com. with the subject, “Dissatisfied,” and include a detailed description of your concern, along with the best way to contact you. A member of our team will follow up to resolve.

Each Blackscription box includes at least two (2) full sized items from at least two (2) Black-owned businesses.

In the Black Wax Blackscription, you will receive at least two (2) full size candles from Black Chandlers, i.e., candle makers.

If your address has changed, please contact us at info@blackscriptions.com. with the subject “Address Change” and provide your name, old address and new address.

We hate to see you go! But we understand that life and circumstances change. Please email us at info@blackscriptions.com., with the subject “Cancel” to cancel your subscription.

Please note, all Blackscription box purchases are final and nonrefundable. That said, Quarterly and Annual Blackscription boxes are cancellable at any anytime before the renewal date to prevent the Blackscription box from renewing. There is no cancellation fee.

If cancellation requests are not received by close of business on the cancellation dates noted below, your cancellation will not take effect until the following quarter.

• Spring – Cancellation must be received by April 30th
• Summer – Cancellation must be received by July 31st
• Fall – Cancellation must be received by October 31st
• Winter – Cancellation must be received by January 31st

If you are an annual member and cancel party-way through your term, your subscription will remain live until your next billing date, at which point it will terminate and not renew for another year.

Gift recipients will receive a shipping notification and gift message when their Blackscription box is shipped. If you wish your gift to be a surprise please enter your email address instead of the recipients email address during the checkout process. Gift Blackscription boxes do not automatically renew; however, if you wish to renew a gift Blackscription box please contact us at info@blackscriptions.com.
